International Martial Arts Hall of Fame 2007 and European Sin Moo Hapkido Association Technical Committee meeting in London on the 2nd of June.
This year for this honorable prize were nominated representatives of different styles including Sin Moo Hapkido. This Award Ceremony is being held for several years and is one of the World’s highest class yearly awards in martial arts and the most important in Europe. Jurg Ziegler , 9 dan, (Switzerland) is awarded as "Excellence in Martial Arts". Sin Moo Hapkido representatives Walter Hubman , 8 dan, (Austria), Massan Ghorbani , 8 dan, (Ireland), Rupert Wohlmut , 7 dan, (Austria), Herman Mochalin , 6 dan, (Latvia) received awards as “Master of the Year”. All nominees leaded master-classes and presented different techniques.
European Sin Moo Hapkido Association Technical Committee meeting was held in the Gouman Tower hotel. During the meeting there were discussed questions concerning development and structuring of the style in Europe; decisions made on procedure and rules of dan tests and issue of certifying documents; procedure of Europe countries and regions representation certificates issue developed in details. There was advised a proposal about joining of Belgian Association to European Sin Moo Hapkido Association. Approved a project of “Annual International Hapkido Masters Seminar” and planned its realization and discussed many other questions.
